He is the youngest of 8 children.
His sister Viola said she named him but everyone new him as "Goob" in Coal Co.

His parents are W. Jim and Ida Pearl Marcum Jenkins, they are buried in the Coalgate Cemetery, Coal County.

He married Rosalie Thomas, in Bryan Co. OK on February 14, 1956 at age 30, she was 24 and has 2 children, Angie & Randy and 1 grandson that he never knew.
He retired from two jobs and was a business owner

His birth certificate lists his father Jim, a Scholastic Census,
and the Family Bible Record
entered by his mother at the time of his birth as his proof.
His death certificate lists his cause of death at age 58 as Traumatic asphyxia, pinned under tractor (driver) in a hay field near S. W. 119 & Walker in OKC, OK.
He was found by a friend. The family suspects that he may have had a heart attack before the tractor accident because it looked as though he was trying to make it back to his truck and my have lost consiousness and went over a drop off causing the tractor to turn over on top of him.
This was never confirmed.
Vondel L. Smith & Sons Mortuary handled the funeral.
