Henry J. Jenkins

Henry was born February 2, 1911 and died June 24, 1934
He is the 3rd of 8 children

He is buried in McCarty Cemetery in Coal County Oklahoma
Along side his sisters Geneva and Maudy

He drowned while at a family/community picnic at Gill Lake.
He was said to be an expert swimmer and when he called for help,
everyone thought he was joking and didn't realize he was in trouble
until it was too late. See his Obituary. He was 23 and never married.

I have been to the Vital Statistics office and there is no death certificate

His parents are Jim and Ida Pearl Marcum Jenkins
both buried in the Coalgate Cemetery
