Jim Jenkins is the son of Joe J. Jenkins and Minerva E. Davis

Joe listed his self as Choctaw Indian in the 1910 Census in Coal County

Jim was born January 31, 1885 and died January 15, 1957

Jim had brothers Ed, Harrison, Frank, Charlie and sister Mattie.

Jim married Ida Pearl Marcum in Coalgate, OK on October 14, 1906
they had 8 children. He and Ida Pearl are buried in Coalgate Cemetery.

I have a copy of his death certificate and a copy of his funeral record
from Slater Funeral Home, Coalgate, OK the informant on both of these was
his son Willard and he lists Jim's birthplace on both documents as Howe, Texas,
Grayson Co. His death certificate lists his cause of death at the age of 73
as Cardiac or hemorage, hypertensive cardio vascular disease.
He does have a SS#

His parents Joe and Minerva Davis Jenkins are buried in Atoka Co in the Wardville Cemetery.

Minerva's parents and granparents and many brothers, sisters, and many many other family members are all buried in the Hall Cemetery at Grayson County, Howe, TX
