For Glate Stevens, the last of 10 children
Written by her grandaughter Sarah

Jesus told an angel,
To call somebody's name.
So our most precious Mima,
Is leaving us today.

You were always such a lady,
Always knowing what to do.
Handling every day with such grace,
We all could learn from you.

Oh, how we'll miss your smile,
And that twinkle in your eye.
Your sweetest little laugh,
And all your hugs good-bye.

You were so proud of our little ones,
Oh, how you loved them so!
And now that you are gone,
We'll make sure that they know.

Mima, when you get there,
To that heavenly place.
We have a few suggestions for you,
When you walk through those pearly gates.

Bake us one last fudge cake,
You're the only one that knows how.
Others have tried to make one,
But yours are the best around.

How about one more game of Wa Hoo?
We played so many times.
Oh yes, you get your white marbles,
And don't forget your special die.

Play us a song on the organ,
You can pick which one.
It doesn't really matter,
Just as long as we're having fun.

Now go see all your loved ones,
What a reunion it will be!
Such a special time for you all,
If only we could see!
