Joseph Solomon Long

J. S. Long, farmer of the Pocasset community was found dead in the back yard at the home of Joe Henry late Monday evening after he had been missing since Saturday afternoon.

The body was found by a son of Long, Paul Long who lives east of Pocasset and a son-in-law, Mr. Hodnett of Oklahoma City.

Funeral services were conducted at the Rose Hill cemetery, Tuesday afternoon by Rev. F. Hodnett of this city. Long is survived by his wife and eight children. He was 56 years of age and had lived in the Pocasset community for several years.
