Juanita "Nita" Marie Harmon Mauldin

Juanita "Nita" Marie, born January 18, 1923, daughter of Kelly "Pete" and Vallie Harmon, went to be with our Lord and Saviour, January 14, 1998, after a brief fight with cancer.

She is preceded in death by her parents, her sister, Wanda Gale Thompson and husband Clayton T. Mauldin. She leaves to mourn and rejoice in her life two children, Kenneth G. Shelton and wife "Kandy" of Alvord, Texas and Kathy G. Long of Moore, Okla.; her brother "Jack", and wife, Velma Harmon of Burleson, Texas and sister, Morvel and husband, Joe Elledge of Hurst, Texas; grandchildren, Amanda Capps, Marni Chancellor, Matthew Shelton, Shelley O'Hara, Karey Shelton, Roy Long and Stacy Long; great grandchildren, Nathan, Brandon, Olivia, Kurtis, Gentry, and Savannah Gale.

She had a very special relationship with her grandchildren as they shared the joys and love of life. She had many, many friends and family who shared life with her traveling, playing cards, eating out and having the pleasures of sharing in God's love and memorable times together. Momma, Granny Nita, Mamaw and Friend, we will miss you so very much.

Services will be at 11:00 a.m., Friday, January 16th at the First Baptist Church in Moore, 301 N.E. 27 ST, with Pastor Herman Kincaid.

Graveside services and Burial will be held at the Cemetery in
Paoli, Oklahoma at 2:00 p.m. Friday, January 16th.

Kenny and Kathy wish to thank the many friends and family for all their support during her illness.
