Laura Ann Thomas Nixon

Last rites for Mrs. Laura Ann Thomas Nixon were conducted Friday afternoon at the Coalgate Assembly of God church by the Rev. D. R. Lirkendall.

She died June 20 in a Dallas nursing home, two days before her 76 birthday. She was born June 22, 1897 in Hope, Ark. Her husband preceded her in death.

Survivors include a daughter, Miss Oleta Nixon, Dallas; two sons, Raymond Nixon, Stoutland, Mo., Dean Nixon, Hutchison, Texas; two brothers, Calvin and Roy Thomas, Coalgate, and five grandchildren.

Burial was in the McCarty cemetery under the direction of Jim Epperson Funeral Service.
