Ralph Roland Thomas Ralph Thomas Entered Into Eternal Rest Wednesday, March 7, 1973 Ralph R. Thomas, 78, of 219 S. E. 59, died Wednesday at South Community Hospital following a sudden illness. Thomas,
a retired farmer, was born in the Atoka area, raised his family in the
Coal Co. area and had lived in Oklahoma City since 1950. He was
a World War 1 veteran and a member of Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 35.
Surviving are his wife, Ella May Taylor Thomas; two daughters, Evelyn, wife of. Elmo Eddings, Tahlequah and Rosalie, wife of Aubrey Jenkins, 521 S. W. 70; two brothers, Calvin and Roy, both of Coalgate, and a sister, Mrs. Laura Nixon, Dallas, TX, seven grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Thomas, Ralph R., 78, of 219 SE 59; 2 pm Saturday at Coalgate Church of Christ, Coalgate, with burial in Coalgate Cemetery, directed by the Vondel Smith Mortuary. Note: Ralph's two brothers Calvin and Roy are buried in the Coalgate Cemetery. His wife Ella May Taylor Thomas also buried with him at Coalgate and her sister Ena Taylor Thomas Fuller was the wife of Ralph's brother Calvin, also at Coalgate Cemetery. Ralph's
parents: Charles C. Thomas and Betty Thomas Thomas are buried in the McCarty
Cemetery, Coal Co, (yes, she was related to her husband) His sister Laura
Thomas Nixon is also buried in McCarty Cemetery among other family members.
Ralph's daughter Evelyn Thomas Eddings is buried in Tahlequah Cemetery,
