SAMUEL DERICE GATLIN

Samuel Derice Gatlin was born June 1, 1859 near Doniphan, Ripley Co., Missouri. He was the son of Alonzo Gatlin and Mary Ann Young. Samuel died December 3, 1920 in Sasakwa, Seminole Co., Oklahoma and is buried at the Mission Cemetery, Sasakwa, Seminole Co., Oklahoma.

Samuel Derice Gatlin married three times. His first wife was Carrie Knowles. They were married before 1890 - location unknown.

Samuel Derice married (2) Mary Florence Robinson on November 27, 1890 in Ardmore, IT (Carter Co., OK). Mary was the daughter of William Penn Robinson and Victoria Bateman. Mary Florence Robinson Gatlin died April 10, 1900 in Thackerville, Love Co., Oklahoma and is buried at Mt. Zion Cemetery, Thackerville, Love Co., Oklahoma.

Samuel Derice Gatlin married (3) Fannie L. (Henley) Churchman on May 22, 1902 in US of A Indian Territory, Southern District (Ardmore, OK). Fannie was born April 6, 1865 in Memphis, Shelby Co., Tennessee, and died March 3, 1939 in Sasakwa, Seminole Co., Oklahoma. She is buried at the Mission Cemetery, Sasakwa, Seminole Co., Oklahoma.
