Emmanuel Bullock "Mann" Hawkins was born August 1, 1855 in Banner, Calhoun Co., Mississippi. He was the son of Hansel J. Hawins and Susanna/Luisanna Davis. "Mann" died May 7, 1936 and is buried at the Oakland Cem., Poteau, LeFlore Co., OK.

"Mann" Hawkins married (1) Mary Lovenia Ragland on December 13, 1877 in Mississippi. Mary was born in 1857 in Lafayette Co., Mississippi. Mary was the daughter of William Stephan Ragland and Sarah Ann Hamblett. It is assumed that Mary had died by 1893. "Mann" and Mary had four children:

"Mann" Hawkins married (2) Susan Emily Jenkins on October 1, 1893 in Mississippi. Susan was born June 20, 1865. She died March 28, 1927 and is buried at the Oakland Cemetery, Poteau, LeFlore Co., OK. Susan was the daughter of Jonathan Leroy Jenkins and Sarah Louesa Dickson. "Mann" and Susan were married October 1, 1893 in Mississippi.
