JAMES CALVIN JENKINS

James Calvin Jenkins was born September 15, 1866 - probably in Calhoun Co., Mississippi. He was the son of Jonathan Leroy Jenkins and Sarah Louesa Dickson. James died October 17, 1949 in Yazoo City, Yazoo Co., Mississippi and is buried at the Concord Baptist Church Cemetery, Calhoun Co., Mississippi.

James married (1) Nettie Griffin. Nettie was born in 1869 and died in 1896. She is buried at the Concord Baptist Church Cemetery, Calhoun Co., Mississippi.

James and Nettie had three children:

James married (2) Ann Elizabeth Vanlandingham. Ann was born June 1, 1877. She died April 22, 1941 in Dublin, Coahoma Co., Mississippi and is buried at the Concord Baptist Church Cemetery, Calhoun Co., Mississippi.
