GEORGE LONG
George Long was born about 1780 in North Carolina. He died after 1870 in Cambelton, Itawamba Co., Mississippi. It is believed that he was living in Alabama in the late 1820's and moved to Mississippi between 1830 and 1835. George is on the 1840 Census of Itawamba Co., Mississippi. Very little is known about George Long at this time. We do not know who his wife was, but know of four children:
