WADE HAMPTON LONG

Wade Hampton Long was a son of George Long. Wade was born about 1824 in Alabama and died about 1900 in Liberty - near Mantachie, Itawamba Co., Mississippi. According to one of his granddaughters, Alta Long Betts, Wade was a very religious man and died from a heart attack on his way home from a prayer meeting.

Wade Hampton Long married (1) Nancy Jane Coleman on September 24, 1846 in Itawamba Co., Mississippi. Nancy was born about 1826 in Alabama. She was the daughter of Henry Coleman and Douris Ann ?.
