William married Sarah Anne Hamblett about 1845 in Lafayette Co., Mississippi. Sarah was born December 13, 1826 in Troup Co., Georgia. She died October 14, 1906 in Lafayette Co., Mississippi. She was the daughter of Samuel Franklin Hamblett and Sarah "Sallie" Wortham.
